Whilst we are on about language..
Why Lugnuts?
Wheelnuts seems so much clearer.
Lugs are ears in the UK. Lugholes = earholes
And Fenders are what you have around a fireplace to stop hot cinders rolling across the floor.
Although, come to think of it, you have fenders on a boat. They are those bumper things to stop the gunwhales getting damaged against the staithes at the quayside.
