I would rather ask and be taken as simple minded that not ask and do
possible damage . . . is there any problem jacking up a spridet's rear
differential housing ends, starting the engine and going through gears with
the rear wheels off the ground? On a tread mill there is some load and
normal weight on the rear wheels but this would be a no load situation.
