Just a mild word of warning.
Aluminium (more likely an alloy) can fatigue quickley if subjected to
vibrations. (as can all metals, I know) Cast Alum alloy is fine but strip or
sheet alum can be problematical, the last thing you want is your nice shiny
spotlamp dragging under the car by its wires. Should be ok if made from at
least 6mm stuff , but keep an eye on it , especiaally the mico cracks where
you bend it.
