Aw come on Phil,
There is a very active midget and sprite group group in the Midlands. If you
join the Midget andSprite club (the setters up of this web group BTW) For
not many quids a year you get a monthly magazine , packed with pictures ,
area reports and information. In fact, if I remember correctly , not too
long ago there was a bit of conflab regarding the copious amount of Frogeye
sprite content and not so much of the midget.
There are some beautiful examples of the sprite around locally, including a
supercharged version in Coventry.
I live in Warwick, (and hope to be repatriating a bugeye to become a frogeye
again very soon)
Now the nitty gritty.
The Warwickshire section meet at THE GREEN DRAGON pub, The Green, Sambourne,
Redditch. (B96 6NU for multimap directions) 2nd Wednesday every month at
8:30 p.m. ( I will email you an address off list for a contact).
Unfortunately my commitments as a commitee member of the Vintage Motorcycle
Club, clash with the MASC meetings on 2nd Wednesdays. However, next year I
hope to be doing some evening and weekend runs with either my 72 midget or ,
hopefully , a frogeye .
