If you hadn't had a spare set of carbs, you could probably salvage the
faulty carb fairly easily. All you'd need do is open out the screw holes in
the butterfly so it can move up and down a bit, assemble it with the screws
done up loosely, hold the butterfly firmly in the closed position then
loctite to the shaft.
