Yes, Chris....
Makes perfect sense. On my older LBC's
the VIN numbers were all "indented" as
in stamped from the front. On my '74
Midget, the VIN plate was riveted to the
metal by the left windshield post, forward of the "rolled" top portion
of the dash, just
to the left of the LH defroster duct.
The VIN number was "raised" from the
metal tab.
