Well...
While it's a rotating assembly, I've no
idea what is "acceptable" or not in terms
of balancing criteria. I would assume that
some unresolvable tire balancing problems (despite "changes" in tires,
etc.) might very well be something
other than what they appear to be in
accordance with what you found regarding
your driveshaft. I dunno.
I mean I'm sure the parts are at least
statically balanced in manufacture but
what tolerances exist within "acceptable"
to the extent it might not go "outside"
with use or parts "alignment" changes.
I mean I understand what you are saying
and I also understand what Guy is
saying. Ed might better educate us but
he's not really coming out with "all" in terms of "readable, full"
explanation in
layman's terms so as to get "across"
what he knows to us who don't, so we may more fully understand. (Not
criticizing
Ed, but I and some others of us need it
spelled out for us).
This subject in terms of specifics is more or less a "no man's land" to
me, anyhow.
