BL thought it was worth doing for the MG Metro. That had what is
effectively an LCB design, albeit in two parts: a cast manifold for the 3
into 2 part, and the exhaust had twin front pipes going into a 'Y'. You
could probably fit this to a Spridget with a little bit of ingenuity
(though on second thought, it's probably more hassle and less effective
than a tubular one)
