Is it the same manifold on a 1500TC as on a Midget? (or on a Sptifire, come
to that?) All the so-called knowledgeable folks' books say the Spitfire had
slightly more power than the Midget due to a less restrictive exhaust,
because there was more space available under the bonnet for it.
