"VIN Plate"
Thank you, Nigel, Roger, etc.! I've never
seen an oval one and on my PO'd '74
it was a long rect. plate up by the left
corner of the windshield inside the car.
OK..."normal"....rect. plate in the engine
compartment mounted on a "frame rail"
beneath the rear carb. :)
