Greetings Group,
I humbly seek the advice from them that know, being a new Midgeteer with little knowledge of the animal yet.
It seems the steering column on my 1974 MK III has collapsed. I believe they have crushable gubbins inside and mine have been crushed by the PO removing the steering wheel with a mallet!
However I have sourced a refurbished column which will be fitted in the next couple of weeks. It seems pretty straight forward, which worries me, there must be a catch!
So folks, are there any tips or tricks you can advise before I launch into it? - Kind Regards
