My guess is the car was solid and there
wasn't much to be spent on the "restoration". If it runs (and is as
solid inside) as it looks, this is a beautiful
original car. Let's see if it reaches 15k
by closing. Wouldn't be surprised.
Local BMW/Volvo dealer had a similiarly restored BE ('59) with good
w/w's in his lot about a year or so ago, asking 13k.
Same Leaf Green as mine. Stopped in
and had a chat with the salesman who
allowed me a short drive in the car
considering I'd driven in, in mine and my
obvious interest.
They got the 13k and not a pence less. :)
