I was just asking on behalf of the lister who asked the original question.

It seems to me that buying a sound '62 bodyshell and exporting it from the
=3D=0D
US
to the UK is a very viable alternative to using a new MKIII shell or paying
=3D=0D
someone to repair the old one. But for it to be viable it needs to cost
somewhat less than the cost of a new MK III shell.
I was just curious as to what the cost would be. If it tops out at 1,500 bu
