I don't know what a Din is but if you take the size of your radio opening
to the store with you just ask for a radio/cd player that will fit. I am
sure any store will open the package and show you the paper template to see
if it will fit. Usually there is a bezel of some sort that allows the same
radio to fit many size openings. Make sure to measure how much distance you
have to the rear of the radio also, not just the front opening.
Actually, several interesting options. Most radio/CD combo units only hold
one CD. They also make a small unit that will fit in the trunk that will
hold 6 or so. It has a little transmitter and an antenna (just a wire) that
broadcasts on a FM frequency. Just tune your FM radio to an un used
frequency and then tune the CD player to that frequency and you have it with
out any wiring.
On my BE, I did not want to drill for an antenna so just ran the antenna
wire lead-in down under the car and fixed it in a horizontal orientation, as
far towards the rear of the car as the lead-in wire would allow (to minimize
ignition spark interference). It worked just great and no one could see the
antenna. Try and allow 2 or 3 inches space from the actual antenna to any
metal. Nylon zip ties work great.
You can do it, no problem.
