One of the favourite add ons inthe 6's and 70's was the air horn (FIAMME)
Very loud and individual. I guess some where like Halfords still sell them.
Easy to install, read the instructions.
(I still want the multitone set that palys LA KOOKARACHA, although illegal
on British roads as multitone horns are for emergency vehical use only, Oh
and diesel locomotives )
The tone on some electric diaphragm horns can be altered by screwing a
little adusting screw on the back of the horn, right in the centre. Screw in
for higher pitch or out for low tone. (it simply alters the amplitude of
the diaphragm.)
You can usually get a good horn for peanuts from the local scrappie.
