when you say 'butting up under the piece left still........' I presume you
don't mean butting up as in a butt joint but overlapping.
If it overlaps under the transmission tunnel, doesn't the cross member
continue there also? Conversely, if you DO mean a butt joint, isn't
distortion still going to be a problem?
Pedantic types need to know!
