Folks -
Its' time bring the ol' boy home (from El Paso to Dallas). I could
any helpful info on how to or who to use.
Some of you have already provided comments; thanks:
To Brad and Robert: I could tell Uhaul that I'm hauling something
other than the Sprite - something that would fit on the transport -
but actually they're right; my car won't fit on the hauler. I've
only got 39" clearance inside tire to tire (has new 165/80s) and the
most safely narrow part of the hauler is about 41 or 42" wide. My
car's too narrow.
Robert, about transporting Brad's hardtop from Dallas to El Paso,
I'd like to help. Let me see what I can do. But this will most
likely depend on how I end up transporting the A-H to Dallas (do-it-
myself or hiring out).
MK: Telling me more about how you loaded the Bugeye onto Uhaul's
6'X12'. Dad and I didn't to consider their open trailers. I'll send
him to the one in El Paso to check out. I imagine teh Bugeye and
Sprite have very similar dimensions but I'm not sure right now.
Anyone know David Baldwin at Auto Sports Unlimited? He was referred
by Dallas Auto Sports. If you have, and if you don't mind, I'd
appreciate some feedback if you've used him. (I hope it's OK to ask
about this in the group)
Thanks as always.
- Vince, Dallas
