Well, my windshield search is finally over. I just won one off of ebay. The funny thing is, the shipping is going to be more than the cost of the windshield assembly. Oh well. Yes it is not new, but it is certainly cheaper than new and also it will be better than the cracked one that I have. I know you all were on the edge of your seats wondering when I would find a windshield and get my Midget back on the road form my post from about 6 months ago, so now you can all relax. LOL!
I also just recieved the registration renewal for the car. It has been sitting immobile since 2002. I have kept it current, but now it seems that it does not require a smog ch. Last year when it was due, I paid it ad they sent me a notice that I had to provide proof of emmissions testing before I could drive it. Now a year later there is no such notice. It is a 76 and the last I knew was that the date was 74 and below in California did not require emmissions testing. Any California listers in the know on the smog regs have any insight into this?
