the '75 on cars have extra 'chassis' rails running from the wheelarches
back to the rear panel, compared with your 74. Apart from this, they are
pretty much the same. I'm not sure what the carpet you have in mind looks
like, but it looks like you'll might end up modifying something anyway, so
it might be cheaper and no more difficult to get straightforward automotive
carpet off the roll and make your own.
