Hey!!
I go down to a "shoot" in NYC, get back,
do a little work on the carbs, get back home for some dinner and tune in
on the
list to find.....what the hell is going on?! :)
But just to let you know...IMHO you have
your priorities in order! :)
If my cat attacks you or your kid, you
definitely have my approval to kill the
cat, obviously. And if you are starving
and need to kill an animal to live, I'll
load the gun for you. Dogs are great
animals. I'd have a German Sheppard
(and my cat) in a heartbeat if I could.
Your a mature guy, I KNOW you ain't
gonna go around doing harm to ANY animal if it can be avoided. Yes, we
kill animals to eat, etc. Yes, it IS the
nature of things.
I also heartily approve of "carrying" for
protection and self-defense. Like, totally!
MY remarks on guns are directed at the
idiots who would shoot at a cat, dog or
any other little beast who jumped up
on their tonneau cover or car. Especailly
when they know it might very well be
a neighbor's pet.These are the people
my remarks are directed to when it comes
to guns. Not to good guy responsble types
like you, Brad and others.
The closing paragraph to all your posts
regarding feeling good about making
a child smile (you are a mature soul)
tells me all I need to know about your
views on life and where you are coming
from. If all those who like and use guns
(I target practice with my buddie's AR's
and assorted guns every now and then)
were like you, no one would have anything to worry about.
