My 'tu-pence' :
I want to be able to drive the spridget..where ever and as often as
possible. Spending nuff time in garage with sons Porsche.
Agree with the hi-rev's/hi performance might equal more down time for
maintenance. With that in mind, and funds being available, it would
seem a blend of euro-asian makes sense. But then just how far should
one push the blend? If the 210 box works great.. some other power
plant as well work better than the std. 1275 (or whatever ones flavor
of spridget came with)?
Would like to think all spridget can be 'assembled' and driven
safely, or as safe as any driving can be given that it is not a tank
or a 100 mph crash proof land barge, with all spridget parts.
Been there with blends. Had MGB with buick V6.. twas OK.. but was
not an MGB. Ditto with blends on spridgets.
Spridgets... are... Spridgets. Try to keep em that way. May not
always work.. my point is to try. maybe they do not belong on tracks
or roads with vette's and hi pro mods.. they are what they are. To
be enjoyed as each individual wishes.. as that person wishes them to
be. eurasian.. or however the owner wants or needs it to be.
