Well thankyou Steve Quandt....
This certainly provides some balance in
terms of my question.
I live in Fairfield County, CT., ONE of the
wealthier areas in these United States
(though I am anything but wealthy, believe
me!).
New Jersey's oil huge oil facilities are
within 50 miles of us. Additionally, we
have our own oil facilities in New Haven
and Bridgeport, each within an easy
50 miles of Fairfield County.
Stamford
Hi-test 1.92+-
Mid 1.82+-
Reg 1.72+-
Darien/Greenwich +05-10 higher (they
are more wealthy than Stamford, you
see!:)
Most of it is our State Gasoline Tax...among the highest in the nation.
So, in reality, not too much higher except
we have our own main supplies within
50 miles on either side of us so higher tax
should be offset by lower transportation
costs?
