The 1098 has a long stroke relative to its bore, so with VP3 cam I expect it
would be more 'lumpy' running engine.Especially at low end of revs and not
particularly a fast revving engine either (not knowing what else has been
done to the engine of course)
Don , Part Scotch , nah !!!. Scottish maybe but not Scotch, scotch is
whisky !!! Depends on how much you have drunk over the years I suppose, then
you could be part scotch !!! 8o)
Jaeger , not English or ever made in England as far as I know, but their
instruments generally have a good reputation. Possibly fitted to Jags at one
time when Smiths got a bad reputation for some reason or other.. A lot
depended on which supplier, or the rate of currency exchange, provided the
lowest cost item at the time. A lot depended on the buyer.
Red warning lights, Great if you know that the bulb is ok !!!

PS How come the Marlins got the world series? And why is England having
such a bad time with the Samoans at the moment (10:19 Sunday Morning ,score
16 - 10 to the Samoans in the first half !!!)
