A bit of advice please.
Reference the cover which is fitted over the spring box after the springs are inserted:
Does this cover have to be welded in place or do the fixing bolts provide sufficient clamping force to disperse the forces encountered in this area?
The old cover was welded, however so was anything else that could & should have moved!
