It's not an easy book to get hold of for some reason. I didn't even know it
existed until I happened to spot one on ebay.co.uk by chance and got it.
I think Amazon do have copies of it.
I wouldn't normally advocate buying all books on Midgets and Sprites (lot of
crap ones out there and the Lindsay Porter one is now very dated) but I've
found this one to be invaluable for advice and reference, and pretty much rely
on it exclusively now I'm almost at the 'fitting' up stage.
Like most books you'll come across it's not perfect, I don't agree with all his
views (I don't agree with many people's views anyway LOL) and he seems to
come from the school of 'because I can't weld - you shouldn't be able to
either, so buy a Heritage Shell like I did) which I find a little arrogant. But the
useful aspect to that is that the book is pretty much exclusively to do with
re-fitting up a painted Heritage Shell - with an interesting section on the
current production of Heritage Shells.
I've spotted a number of typo's and inaccuracies in it, but on the whole it's a
well written and produced book, with useful diagrams and pictures
explaining re-assembly. Well worth the money in my mind.
