Having now extracted the engine from the car I have found its Engine number, whihc is FP4615F, I think this is a proper midget engine. But its defieantly a pinky metalic red. Dad says that this colour indicates a factory recon unit, I thought these were Gold, but aparently that's austin engines, truimph painted thier recon motors a pinky metalic red.I might re-paint it black
