I was wondering if anyone could give me some information. I have a
1977 Midget. It has the rostyle wheels. I think I would like to
refurbish these back to their original appearance. I know the trim
rings and small hubcap were chrome. But, were the wheels simply black
and silver-grey paint? I have showed pictures I found on the internet
to my friend who does auto body painting. He insists they must have
been chromed or polished or something. What were the wheels originally
like?
