FWIW,
Had my flywheel lightened by a local mechanic who specializes in imports and is very familiar with British makes. For all you 1500 spridgeteers our there my guy only took out about 1 lb. of material. Told me the flywheel is pretty light as it is and any more might be counter-productive.
So 1500 guys we either have better Triumph technology in our motors OR we've been screwed again. I personally like the better technology option.
