It should be rather easy to find some study on the subject on Google. I
think it is just a way for big companies to separate you from a few more
dollars.
When was the last time you had a tire damaged to the degree it had to be
replaced from the inside by oxy? I ask you!
It might get better gas mileage, but I bet it would not be more than a 01%
gain. Adding one psi pressure would give you that much gain in mileage
IMHO.
A lot of the racers around here are using it, but I don't think you can put
a dollar advantage on it for the average driver.
We use it on our off road race team on my sons class 10 car, but the real
reason is that it is a small tank that we can carry around and will fill
perhaps 100 tires or more. (I think it is around 3,000 psi) and it is not
too expensive, perhaps $20 or so to fill it.
