Hi Kelly,
The e-mails are now begining to come through now, I expect the system was
down for a bit, as it sometimes is.
As for Midgets, mine is now out in the drive, newly serviced etc, and ready
for the long haul to Scotland on Friday morning. It's about a 500 mile trip,
and should take about 10 hours. Hopefully I will meet up with David Campbell and
his wife Paula from the USA who are holidaying near our cottage in the
country. The weather here has changed from a scorching day yesterday (Sunday) to
raining all day!! Hope it clears up before the wekend. I did manage to get in a
decent run last Thursday when I drove to the suppliers to have my new seats
fitted. The old ones were collapsing, so I decided to upgrade to leather.
I hope you don't have to wait too long for yours to be on the road. I
wouldn't be without mine. So much so that I have pledged with the MG Owners Club to
keep it for ever!! What year is yours? and what colour are you having it
painted? My Ava left the factory in December 1970, and I have had her for 13 years.
She started out Harvest Gold, but is now dark racing green.
Great to hear from you
