I forgot to add a 'welcome to the list', Erich.
someone on the list can probably help you narrow down the approximate age
of your 'new' car with a little bit of detective work, for example, has it
got wind-up windows or sidescreens? 948/1098/1275 or 1500 engine? combined
brake/clutch master cylinder or separate? single or dual circuit brakes?
chrome or rubber bumpers? if chrome, are they wide or narrow? is the hood a
packaway type or fastened to the back of the cockpit? and so on.
Any single one of these features won't necessarily give the whole story, as
these sorts of things can be swapped about between cars, but they can build
up a picture.
