Don't weld it, clamp it whatever you do,
if such repair is appropriate.
There is that bracket which goes laterally between the transmission and
the pipe
just forward of your seat. Not there?
Have Meinecke or any decent muffler
shop install "their version". Or, make one
up...either way the system will need some
"support".....there.
