the clue was in a previous post, it's all soldered together empty *then*
filled with the magic fluid; so the tube will be fed through the housing,
then the bulb soldered on. You just need to find a source of the right size
tube, a scrap bulb and head and solder it all together. (don't forget to
put the protection 'spring' over the tube before you do the soldering -
just imagine how you'd feel if you had to re-do it all!)
