Martyn...
Firstly, check the oil level in the carbs and
further, is it "thin" 10 wt or the thicker
20 wt. stuff?
Secondly, when it "stumbles" off-idle
upon initial acceleration...is there smoke
of any sort out the exhaust before it
finally "catches" and "go's"?
Thirdly...check the timing. For a "stumble" upon initial acceleration is
not an unknown symptom of too much initial
ignition advance.
