Indeed, you can release more power from having a more
efficiently flowing intake manifold but you don't have to modify
your existing one. There's plenty of aftermarket ones that do the
job as well if not better than modifying the standard manifold.
I've often seen them popping up on ebay - worth keeping an eye
out for one.
