Hi fellas!
I am coming back to you with a possible
solution to my oil pressure problem.
My problem was that to start with i had a
very good oil pressure 60-80lb, but as the
engine was warming up it gradualy went down.
I think we have found the problem, and we recon
it must be the pressure release valve that expands
as everything is warming up and sets in a slightly
open position.
I have bought the ball type valve from Minispares
and we planned on fitting it today, the engine is
warm and we cant shift the old valve. We have tried
everything exept using a tap.
We will try again tomorrow when engine is cold and
if neccesary we will try with a tap.
Hopefully the new ball valve should work ok and will
give me back the normal oil pressure.
I will keep you posted.
Cheers
Jens
