Thought all you LBC owners would get a chuckle and/or a tinge of dread
from this study in automotive design contrasts. That's my '71 RWA
Midget and '02 Dodge Ram from 2 years ago.
I've owned the Midget for 12 years and am slowly restoring it between
glorious rides. My biggest project on this car is about to commence.
I recently (last month) purchased a Datsun 210 tranny on EBay and am
about to pull the engine to perform the transplantation ("Calling Dr.
Michael DeBakey").
Two questions (if anyone is inclined respond):
My engine has been running superbly, albiet a lower compression model
8:1 so not a lot of zip. I'd like to mildly upgrade it. No racing.
What are the most common upgrades to this 1275 engine?
Any tips from those who have done this?
