The clutch problem sounds like you're losing pressure in the hydraulic
system, try bleeding the system/replacing clutch fluid/checking Master/slave
clutch cylinders are working correctly.
The indicator lamp not flashing sounds either like a poor ground connection
from flasher unit or faulty flasher unit - both fairly easy to fix.
