The roads down South East are busy and full of morons. However up in Yorksh
ire you will find there are lots of empty roads just great for spridget dri
ving. Same for the rest of the country really , cities like Birmingham and
Manchester and the immediate hinterland are busy , but that's the same in t
he 'States. Same for our Motorways your Interstates / turnpikes.
Except for the M25 around London you will easily keep up with the flow of
traffic there , just don't forget to pay for your Pay and Display parking t
icket before you get on it.
If you have lots of money you could buy a midget when you arrive - then
spend time and money fettling it, then sell it for what you paid for it whe
n you leave. (I think you'd rather be driving than buying spanners and trol
ley jacks)
Or you can drive your midget onto a RORO ferry and have it transported to
the UK. cost is about 900 USD.
If you get really stuck for dosh a good solid USA car can be sold quite eas
ily over here (we are still importing them back from the USA) and they are
quite easily converted to RHD drive. I drive quite a few prototype LHD car
s over here and its really not too bad - as long as you keep out of London
(but I'd say that to everyone LOL).
