You are right - I didn't think of that! Since the valves appear to
open at the right moment (1 or 2 deg off?) the chain should be OK.
Then the question may be whether the pulley can somehow be rotated 15
deg? I have never taken it off, but looking into Haynes and Ball it
looks like there is only one way to mount it? Anyone knows?
An unknown number of previous owners have worked on this car with
probably various levels of proficiency..
