Many thanks for the replies.
Yes, I realise that the system is the sum of its many parts. And I should
have thought it through a little more as I am planning to fit an MGMetro
head and camshaft. Now I'm thinking I need to fit the water heated inlet
manifold also. So the question changes a little.
How much hassle is it to fit an LCB in a midget. (In a mini we had to attack
the bulkhead (firewall) with an 'ammer to create space)
Is it possible to retain the metro inlet manifold , do I need to ?.
Any reccomendations? any reading reccomendations?
P.S. Nigel, the above mod's are something that |I feel that MG / Austin
Rover would have done as a natural progression so its a bona fide
improvement IMHO
Thinking about it, my lads 1989 - 998cc metro has a 3 to 2 to 1 manifold
to pipe system also. And that's currently leaking at one of the the 3 to 2
joints, a right Bar Steward to tighten .
