One other advantage of "burning it out" is
a nice (steam) cleaning of the combustion chamber.
Of course, if it really runs badly a draining
procedure (per David) is definitely in the
cards.
I steam the combustion chambers out ea.
spring via the carbs and an old Windex
bottle filled with distilled water.
