I put a little bit of Teflon tape (like you use on gas & water pipes)
on the brake line threads. Be careful not to do too much, because you
do not want a pice of tape floating through your brake system. I have
had no leaks yet in my system, pipe-wise. Oh, and don't over-tighten
threads; they will strip.
