That 'vision in green' looks far too nice for you, I thought you were
looking for one that needed a little work? ;)
Seriously though it looks good, nice straight body, nice bright
shiny paintwork, sills painted the correct colour black this time,
wire wheels look in good condition, useful extras - boot rack and
roll over bar and most importantly it looks like it been cared for
and looked after.
I'd question the total mileage of 14,000 miles, or is that the mileage
on the new unleaded reconditioned engine?
The seller is also throwing in a new MOT and tax which is always
a good sign.
Definitely one to go have a look at in my opinion, and pay attention
to the condition of the bodywork around the sills, where the sills
meet the floor pans, inner footwell side panels, bottom door hinge, the
forward rear road spring mounting points and a good look round
the surface of the external bodywork for signs of rust bubbles/filler.
A good tip for checking for the existence of filler is to take a small
magnet with you and put it on the bodywork in places where you
suspect filler to be obviously it'll drop off if there's any filler on there.
There will be places where you would expect filler to be (for bodywork
profiling) but there should be no filler on structural places like sills and
spring hanger areas.
Oh, and take it for a test drive :)
