"Waxstat" devici.
I guess they came up with a better way
of fuel temperature compensation in the
HIF series....like they've got some sort of
a fuel temperature sensitive "disc" in there
which basically does the same thing?
Even so, Vizard states the carb. has a
tendency to intially run "lean" when you
put your foot in it, after engine compartment temps. have gotten really
hot....as in slow travel in heavy traffic, etc.
