Suggest you follow DLancer's advice and
be prepared to do both rear brakes as well
(unless the other side is basically new) as
that oil usually renders that particular
side useless in this respect....
Afraid I do not have the parts you seek,
though I do already have a copy of Blaggot's fine book, thank you!
As far as additives go, don't exactly know
what motivates you in this, Sam. Usually,
a quality brand is all that is required along
with oil/filter changes every 3K or so. It is
the additive package which is usually the
difference between "good" and "less
than" motor oils so I'd stick with the known major brands or something
like
Oil Extreme, RedLine or Royal Purple.
Magnetic oil plugs in both engine and
gearbox are worth having as well as the
JCWhitney magnetic belt which attaches
to sping-on filters. Not necessary but nice to have. Unipart is also
making a "magnetic" spin-on these days I am told.
I run a Datsun gearbox so I will let others
who currently use a Spridget box comment on oils. I used to use
straight
30wt. motor oil in winter and 50wt. in summer in my Sprite gearboxi,
though.
