Hello all,
I have a running MG Midget convertible, in excellent condition,
that I love to death but am really needing to sell. I bought this car
on Ebay last year, but have never driven it openly (by which I mean on
public roads), had it insured, or had the title put in my name (I
suffer from lack of funds). My brother has driven it, and says it
handles quite well... the only defects we know of are: a minor hole in
the exhaust pipe, a broken parking brake, and a leak in the braking
system near the left front wheel. I have kept it under a car cover
since the day I got it. This is a gorgeous car, racing green, with a
minor scratch on the hood that was there when it arrived.
Also included with it is a parts car, which is a identical car,
except for colour( it was red, but now looks rather pink); but does
not run (the engine is in the front seat), has no brakes, and is much
worse aesthetically.
I got both cars from a man who was in the process of restoring the
first one, but, having too many projects going on, had to give it up.
I myself love the car dearly, but need the money for my fall semester
of college. Otherwise I would never let it go.
I also throw in the car cover, and a mint-condition workshop
manual.
I'm asking $3,000, which is what I've put into it so far. So I
think that's fair.
If you're interested, let me know. And if you want, I'll go get
the VIN from off the door frame.
The buyer will have to pay the shipping costs, or pick up
personally. I have no trailer, or any way to deliver.I am in Chico,
Texas, which is about 100 miles from the D/FW area... originally, I
had the cars shipped to me, from Dripping Springs Texas. So if you're
out of state the shipping costs may be pretty steep.
