Firstly apologies to anyone who may feel I'm sticking my nose in where it's not supposed to be. This only my personal opinion and it's not my intention to post anything contentious. As a relatively new (3 years) member of the Midget & Sprite Club. I was thinking that there must be many members of this list who aren't members of the Midget and Sprite Club. Lori, As other members will tell, if it ran it would be worth more. Need to check under the hood on the passenger side of the engine for a tag that will start with a 10 or 12. Which is it? I agree also on this point, I've seen some really poor bonnet gaps on frogeyes, even on restored cars! I guess this is an area on those cars difficult to get right, not that I'd know from experience never having owned one... maybe after I've finished the one I'm working on! Why especially me? OK, so, let's have a wash-up session here. I have 2x FT6's that are screwed. I have a '64 Sprite with Dynamo/Generator. No point getting halogens, so where to I get standard replacement glass? (UK) I only use the car in summer really so light brighteness isnt top prioirty. Max "Max" 26838... MORE

Why???? 'Cause they are not making a military product upon which their survival depends for one thing and they are making a car part to a dollar for another. What about Marseilles during rush hour(s). When I was in the USAF stationed in that part of France, it was really fun trying to shuttle the other guys around for sight seeing with the traffic there. Tom... As I understand it, about 5k for the whole shebang but you already have good doors and other useful parts. So the only correct way of doing this is to email or phone for exactly what YOU need as I believe the tub may come in different stages of completion. (If there are any listers who know more about this, please feel free to chime in) As you know, you can never stop rust, though you can slow it down. -If its of intrest a lot of the midget/sprite windsreens are in fact made in canada,as for fitting them you are better taking your time and doing it yourselve ,along with a new rubber.The auto-windscreen people just pick a dam silly price out of there head to charge simply they dont want to fit them and a lot of them dont have a clue how to. wes "wesley5060" 26726... Its a bummer when something like that happens, I hope you didn't have to dr ive too far on 3 cylinders. All sorts of unnatural stresses on the crank et c Assuming it's a clean engine there should be plenty of oil down there, in f act should be almost flooded most of the time. Is it ? Did the pushrod drill a hole in the cam follower (the push rod rotates whe n running normally - if it sticks you get abnormal wear )or did the cam 'we ar' away the base of the follower. So you are saying if I am in the UK "side lights" are on the "front" of the car and are what we in the US would call "parking/ turn signal" lights which are located just below the headlights and the lights on the sides of the front and rear fenders are "markerlights." So . . . I am safe saying there were no "marker lights" on a 62 Midget, and if there were they would not flash. I've already had my lesson in wind-wings . . . was it a crime for me to drive on the M-4... MORE
