Hi, Somewhere in our garage we have some black carpeting for cars. We bought it for our Mini, which we no longer have. I'll check in the morning to see how much is there, and if there is enough for your needs, we can come to some arrangement. Hi Guys, I decided that I do not plan on using my Hardtop for my 73 midget. It need to be cleaned since it sat in a desert for 17 years, the rear plastic window is pretty shot, and the rubber is ugly, but there are no cracks, etc. I have it in storage now, and I would love to have it go for a good cause. If anyone is interested, i can walk to my neighbors house where I have it stored and take photos. I also know of some guy like 5 blocks from my house that... MORE
Regular Listers, How many times have we had this debate on non car-related topics? I've not bothered to count, but I have a feeling that the follow-ups take up more space than if we just let the topic ride!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL. Apology fully accepted Robert! {;-) Have a Happy 2005! and Ed, the offering and accepting of an apology does not mean that either side has changed their views or somehow "backed down" on the matter in question. It simply means that we do fully respect each other as individuals, with individual rights and beliefs. The fact that I still think that the list is not the place for long non LBC rants such as this has no bearing on my "right" to own my LBC. Short rants, cats, jokes music - it is all good. Its just the long,... MORE
Don't be so angry, RBH.... "they" haven't lost their minds Bob, they've just forgotten the fact Europeans were responsible for two World Wars in the last century and have forgotten (obviously) who provided the majority of the manufacturing capacity (not to mention some "human" help) that bailed them out.... and most especially so in the case of France. And of course, in bailing them out, we also bailed ourselves out for not doing so would ultimately mean the bogeyman would shortly be threatening our shores in very short order, otherwise. There's every good reason to believe FDR knew the... MORE

" Must say that I enjoyed spending my tax refund of $610" Election coming up ? or am I being cynical ? LOL BTW As good as the speech is, I would like to hear much of it in real life BUT, I don't think you'll ever hear a president (or PM in UK) ever, ever, ever utter them words publickly . It's very similar to a Hitler speech before WW2 - just the names are changed. Alan "alan.east-jones" 33567... MORE

Bob, I would modify this just a bit...deport the UN in it's entirety......to France, Russia and/or Germany. Either one of them (or all) deserve it a lot more than we do. We haven't the brains or the national cajones today, to take care ourselves a la "Charity Begins At Home". We truly have been "dumbed down" the last 40 years or so and far worse, we've become "feminized" (overly sensitive and "enabling") to those who are too uneducated to "appreciate". And so, we've become the International whipping boy. We obviously no longer know how to fight and win a... MORE
starting now. We are tired of the one-way highway. It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them be saying, "darn tootin." Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America. It is time to eliminate World Cup Soccer from America. To the nations on List 1, a... MORE

Can anyone help please? I have a 1098cc MG engine in my 1961 Mk I Frogeye Sprite and have just removed the head for fault analysis for a rattling noise. The Haynes manual (page 37) states there are tappet covers but they are not identified in the exploded view of the engine. Vince, I have the ring-bound British Leyland shop manual 10th ed. from 1970. It covers the Sprites Mk 2 - 4 and Midgets Mk 1 - 3. There are 8 different wiring diagrams covering the various U.S. and Brit versions over the years. On the two diagrams that most likely were for your car, I didn't see any YN anywhere - or on any of the others either, in case somehow you've got a newer wiring harness. FWIW, which ain't much, but thought I'd let you know at least. Hamondale "hamondale" 33482... MORE
